I survived a travel day from rural back roads, to Interstate highways, and passing through congested downtown Chicago in June 2023.
Travel days can be stressful, anxiety filled, and no fun at all. However, following a few tips you could find it enjoyable and a journey full of discovery!
HERE IS HOW:
Go slow, you are RVing; there should be no hurry
Take breaks to stretch and walk
Eat and stay hydrated
Enjoy the scenery
Watch for Brown Road Signs to see a Point Of Interest
Play your fave music or audiobook
Keep snacking to a minimum
Locate cheap fuel; use Gas Buddy app
Stop driving at 300 miles or 3 hours, which ever comes first
