1955 Ford 292 Y-Block V8 Startup on Test Stand V8 Speed and Resto Shop
We recently rebuilt this 1955 Ford 292 Y-Block V8 going into a 1955 Ford Thunderbird. We always like to run them on a test stand to break them in, and make sure any leaks or issues are fixed before final cleaning, painting, polishing, detailing, and installation in the car. This one is mostly stock, but "freshened up" with some conservative machine work and some new internals.
