One person has been pulled from a fire at a seniors’ care building in Scarborough, Toronto Fire said Thursday.

The blaze broke out at the building, located on Brimley Road near St. Clair Avenue East, early Thursday morning.

One occupant was rescued and Toronto Fire said paramedics are currently “performing life-sustaining care.”
