Countless people live their day-to-day lives with immense stress - they are constantly going in and out of the fight/flight/freeze state, ruining their minds and bodies. Anxious thoughts continue to grow, depressive thought patterns become stronger and stronger, all while you feel like your life is in a spiral...those are tough times to deal with, but it doesn't have to always be that way. There are ways to escape those destructive thought patterns. It's possible to work through those challenges and live a life of happiness and fulfillment. Today, I discuss the fight-or-flight response, and what you can do to effectively turn off this response over time and put yourself in a calm and psychologically safe space.
