2. MS Lauren Bacall, actress
3. SOT Lauren Bacall: "I've been to many festivals and I'm not crazy about going to them, but this one I really wanted to be part of, because I think it will be a major film festival and I think also it is a very serious one."
4. MS Kevin Spacey, actor
5. SOT Kevin Spacey: "I think anything that anybody can do to try to revitalize the city to try to get people came back to downtown below 14th street. A lot of people are coming and paying respects to this hallowed ground, but other than buying hats and T-shirts they are not spending a lot of money and businesses that were devastated by September 11th. So I suppose what we're trying to do is to try and get as much attention to it as we can, and to get people down here and realize that way after this festival which is in five days, life has to go on down here."
6. MS Kevin Bacon actress with his wife Kyra Sedgwick, actress
7. SOT Kevin Bacon: "And Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal really had a great idea."
8. SOT Kyra Sedgwick: "Yes it was a really great idea. Because it is a celebratory thing, a joyous thing, you know the joy is here, absolutely. A big boost for the city and a big boost for this neighborhood, and we are back and better than ever. I mean New Yorkers have changed in the best of ways."

DE NIRO LAUNCHES TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL
Actor Robert De Niro and Vanity Fair's editor Graydon Carter threw a party Tuesday night (07MAY) in downtown Manhattan, celebrating the launch of the Tribeca Film Festival. The rotunda of the New York State Courthouse was filled with glitterati celebrities such as Lauren Becaul, Donatella Versace, Kevin Spacey and Martin Scorsese.
The festival is not only encouraging new filmmakers to participate with their movies, but also aims to boost the economy of Tribeca, the slice of downtown named for the Triangle Below Canal. An estimated 100,000 of the 370,000 jobs downtown are gone, and 11,000 businesses have closed or moved.
