This is the second version of this show. Different taper, different location. This one is generally at a lower pitch than the first version that I posted. I've tried no pitch correction on any of these shows. I'm not sure my editor is up to it and not sure what base pitch to use if I tried it. Was just looking at a pic of Keith and Bill tuning up backstage in 72. Backstage is often nice and cool. Go onstage under the hot lights with 15K people or so and the guitars go flat, leaving them to tune to the piano. But the piano has been onstage all evening and possibly all day and undergone a significant temperature change, so it could be slightly flat (or even sharp with extreme humidity). So 440? 439? 441? After 50 years of being copied who knows how many times? Too many variables.
