If there is a downside to 200fps+ foam blasters, it's that they generally can't be adequately tested indoors, unless one lives inside a sports arena, warehouse or Quonset hut.
Without some level of accuracy, muzzle velocity and range generally hold less value than the ability to hit targets at closer distances unless the desire is simply "to see how far it goes." The Caliburn with a string rifle stabilized ("SCAR") attachment goes quite a ways in making those higher velocities usable.
Edited for length; by no means a comprehensive test. 10 meter and 50 foot tests with ACC 3 and Worker Gen 1 half length darts. 8" pellet trap.
.177 air rifle (designed for 10 meter jr. competition) at the end for perspective.
Future comparisons to follow, not to beat up on foam blasters, but to demonstrate the amount of head room available for improvement, particularly with regards to the foam projectiles.
