Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 8806 Mesa Drive at 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday (June 27).

The suspect is described only as a black male, 18 to 21 years of age, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 140 to 150 pounds. He was last seen fleeing in a possibly silver or gray, early model Chevrolet pickup truck, lifted and with chrome wheels.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or whereabouts of the unknown suspect or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
