Part 2: I am Attila, the Hun, also known as Flagellum Dei, or the Scourge of God. I was born on the steppes of Central Asia in the early 5th century AD. My people were nomadic warriors, and I was raised to be a leader.
When I was a young man, my father died, and my brother, Bleda, and I became joint rulers of the Huns. We quickly united the Hunnic tribes and began to expand our empire.
We invaded the Eastern Roman Empire, and in 441 AD, we captured the city of Naissus. This was a major victory, and it showed the Romans that the Huns were a force to be reckoned with.
In 445 AD, Bleda was assassinated, and I became the sole ruler of the Huns. I immediately set out to expand the empire even further.
I invaded the Western Roman Empire in 451 AD, and I defeated the Roman and Visigoth armies at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains. This was one of the greatest victories in Hunnic history, and it made me the most powerful man in Europe.
I continued to invade and plunder the Roman Empire, and I became known as the Scourge of God. I was a ruthless and feared leader, but I was also a brilliant tactician and a skilled warrior.
However, my reign was not without its challenges. I was constantly facing opposition from the Romans and from other barbarian tribes. I also had to deal with internal conflicts within the Hunnic Empire.
Despite these challenges, I was able to maintain my hold on power and to expand the Hunnic Empire to its greatest extent. I died in 453 AD, shortly after my wedding night. My death was a major blow to the Hunnic Empire, and it soon began to decline.
However, my legacy continues to this day. I am remembered as one of the greatest conquerors of all time, and my name is still feared by many.
