I’ve been wanting to upgrade my old Lennar builder grade pendant lights for a lot of years. The first shade that I found at Lowe’s was a little bit too plain and boring, however, it was only $14.

The second pendant was interesting, however, it was a bit too small and a bit too rustic.

Apparently, the third times a charm because I found the perfect pendant shade at Lowe’s for only $20 each. They were sparkly, seeded, clear glass and perfect to brighten up my dark kitchen. However, the silver socket cover was the only one at the store had in stock for me. So my solution was to rub it down with steel wool and give it a little bit of a spray paint makeover. Thank you Lowe’s!
…on to the next project.
