David and Bathsheba is a 1951 Technicolor epic film produced by 20th Century-Fox and starring Gregory Peck as King David. It was directed by Henry King and produced by Darryl F. Zanuck, with a screenplay based on the Bible story of King David's life. The film follows his life and his relationship with Uriah's wife Bathsheba, played by Susan Hayward. Goliath is portrayed by 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) Lithuanian wrestler Walter Talun.
