When you hear the name Khan, you probably think of Genghis, the
founder of the empire, or his grandson Kublai.
Yet, there are other Khan’s who made their mark on history, including Kublai’s younger brother Hulagu.
Hulagu Khan, born in 1215, was the grandson of Genghis Khan, the
founder of the first great Khan empire.
He embraced the job with relish and would lead a formidable army into the most distant reaches of the empire to enforce
his brother’s dominion and building his reputation as a ruthless conqueror.
