ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
This video is a DIY install of a KSP Performance 6X5.5 Hub Centric Wheel Spacers Fit 1.5 inches Forged Hub Centric Adapters Kit onto a 3rd Gen 2016-2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. Wheel spacers are installed for a few reasons:
1. If you want to clear bigger break sets to clear wheel spokes or any other aftermarket suspension components such as a control arm, wheel spacers will be a solution.
2. If you want to clear space for aftermarket suspension components such as a control arm, wheel spacers will be a solution.
3. If you want to achieve more negative offset (in my case, I wanted at least 1.5-inches negative offset) so I decided to install a wheel spacer.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE:
Please ensure to use your factory recommended torque specifications when torquing the wheel spacer to the wheel hub and again when torquing your wheel to the wheel spacer. As per KSP Performance's installation instructions, 12mm lug diameter should be torqued to 80 ft lbs max. Ensure to always tighten your lug nuts in star pattern.
