Harry Ferris, 66, (top left) was convicted of two counts of assault last year after the attacks on 69-year-old Philip Hellawell (pictured top right, after he was thrown over the fence, bottom right) and his wife Tilly, 65, who live next door to him in Bacup, Lancashire (main image). Now Ferris, 66, has been convicted of common assault after hurling foul-mouthed abuse at his neighbour after Mr Hellawell left a note on Ferris's car, urging him to park elsewhere. The neighbours have been embroiled in a war over a yard outside their homes since Ferris moved in to the farmhouse with his wife Jean in April 2012.
