So, woke up today and found my big veiltail Byron with graphite disease. It was extending along a strip of his tail's underside, dangerously close to reaching his body. Did the only thing I could think to do, pulled him out of the tank and did emergency surgery. Chopped off all the infected tissue with a razorblade and put him in a Kritter Keeper with a few different medications. He was bleeding a little bit. Worst goddamn thing I've ever had to do. Help, please don't let this spread to my other fish.
