In this video we cover the contents of the EASA CAA PPL H air law exam
The exam is usually the first exam to be completed, prior to you first going solo, and the syllabus is arranged to give you the overview of the general rules of the air.
The exam its is a multiple choice exam, consisting of 35 minutes maximum with 16 questions and a pass mark of 75%, which means you can only get 4 answers in order to pass.
It is a closed book exam, which is taken online via the CAA theoretical knowledge portal, accessed at your flight training school.
The topics you cover include rules ,regulations, and airspace. It also covers the scope and limitations of your Private licence and your responsibilities as the pilot, the documents to be carried .
The subject also explores the correct process for emergencies, aircraft interception light signals , ground marshalling and the minimum altitudes for different environments.
