Connections of the well-bred colt, trained by Charlie Hills, probably had some mixed feelings after he breezed home over an extended 6f under Rossa Ryan. Richard Ryan, representing the owners, admitted they had thought long and hard about giving him his first start in the Chesham at Royal Ascot next week. "We've got big plans, he's a quality horse" he said.
