Tracing has a complex history in the art community but what most do not acknowledge is that tracing is an actual art form a technique that existed for centuries. It’s time that we as a community become more understanding of this technique and instead of shaming young artist and scaring them away from trying we instead encourage young artist to continue to practice and teach them how to correctly trace so they can further improve.
