It has been awhile since we talked about the 17g Mangrove / Soft Coral tank, formally the Macro Algae Tank. This is another super simple reef tank that does not have sump, skimmer, or any monitoring / controller device. While I keep more hardy coral species in this tank, this tank has been bullet proof and problem free. Here is an update on this awesome system, as well as the rapidly growing mangrove tree! We will focus on the Fuzzy Finger Leather coral, the Metallic Green Toadstool coral, and the Yellow Fiji Leather. Also including some tips and best practices I picked up along the way while growing out the Red Mangrove Tree in this reef tank!
