In March 2016 blood courier Jerome Rogers took his life after two £65 penalty charge notices swelled to a debt of over £1,000. His story is told in Killed By My Debt, which tells how the motorcycle courier came to owe so much and why the clamping of his bike exacerbated his stress.
Toby Earle spoke to Craig Parkinson, who plays the Bailiff in the drama, about the Rogers' story and the destructive nature of the gig economy.
