The second Texas Global Dialogues, a virtual panel discussion series for UT Austin alumni covering critical global issues, featured a discussion with UT Austin experts on the real-world applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Panelists included Dr. Junfeng Jiao, director of the Urban Information Lab in the School of Architecture; Dr. Min Kyung Lee, a Siebel Scholar and assistant professor in the School of Information; and Dr. Peter Stone, professor and Robotics Consortium Director in the College of Natural Sciences. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Sonia Feigenbaum, Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Chief International Officer at UT Austin.
The event series, created in collaboration with Texas Exes, brings UT expertise and innovations to our 530,000 alumni in various regions of the world. The dialogues connect UT’s academic mission to our global Longhorn community and provide an opportunity for alumni to meet and participate in meaningful conversations with each other and university affiliates.
