This video explains what is an amplifier in electronics. Amplifier is a circuit or device that boosts an input audio or other signal characteristics such as voltage, current and power. There are three types of amplifiers. They are Voltage amplifier, current amplifier and power amplifier. There are four important characteristics of an amplifier - Linearity, Gain, Bandwidth and Noise.
