Hello everyone!
Last fall, I poured epoxy into a crack of walnut wood which has a beautiful pattern.
I left this wood unattended for a while, but a few days ago I suddenly remembered the wood.
In this video I made an unusual type of plate by turning an epoxy-treated black walnut.
The plate looked like a moon partially obscured by clouds because of the epoxy part mixed with black pigment, so I named it Moon Shadow.
It was possible to express irregular patterns by drilling holes in the lower part of the plate because that walnut was about three inches thick.
