This is another video showcasing one of the characters of this game, Samuel, who it looks like is the main boss in the first story.
Samuel Zborowski is a saber-wielding fencer of the Polish and Hungarian sabre schools who hails from Ruthenia in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
Backstory
Inseparable from childhood, Samuel Zborowski and Jakub Sienienski rented their sabers to anyone who wanted to end a dispute with a neighbor, silence their enemy, or force baksheesh, spreading terror in Ruthenia for many years. Eventually, they were taken prisoners and ended up in slavery on an Ottoman galley. Jakub was released and promised to return with the ransom to buy them both out, but a year passed and he never returned. When Samuel realized about Jakub's betrayal, he escaped with the help of a prisoner called Sava and returned to Poland seeking revenge. All Samuel craved was vengance on Jakub for his betrayal. But the time spent in slavery allowed Samuel to rethink his past, violent life and perhaps had made him a different man.
Advantages
Samuel has a good attack speed
Can chain individual attacks he does
Has good long-guard range
A well timed long-thrust attack will land on the enemy's right arm
Disadvantages
Blade is relatively weak against longsword attacks (e.g. from Isabella and Father Zera)
Samuel has weak long-thrust attacks, so one should land several of those attacks to kill or disarm their opponent
Extra Notes
Samuel is quite good at the exchange game. Get used to the timing of parrying and riposting immediately afterwards
Trivia
Samuel Zborowski was a real historical figure. He was a Polish military commander and a notable member of the szlachta (Polish nobility). He is best remembered for having been executed by supporters of the Polish king Stefan Batory and chancellor Jan Zamoyski.
Samuel Zborowski is the main character of the Zborowski book, by Jacek Komuda. He is the fictitious son of the historical Samuel Zborowski.
