Police in the North West says 12 of the twenty bodies that were discovered earlier this week in Orkney had pieces of paper with names and contact numbers believed to be that of their next of kin placed on them.
The bodies are believed to be of illegal miners.
Six of them were brought to the surface at an unused ventilation point while another fourteen were left in an abandoned area close by.
