The artsREACH program was created to provide all children with the opportunity to develop life skills by exploring their potential through arts experiences. To reach children who are least likely able to access quality arts programming, artsREACH delivers 90-minute workshops in public elementary schools that have been identified as having the highest population of children from low-income families. Taught by professional artists and actors, the workshops' curriculum and teaching methods support the development of communication, personal management and teamwork skills. Since 2005, the artsREACH program has delivered over 600 workshops to more than 12,000 children in the Capital Region.
