I was really excited to see that the new MeatStick is both fully waterproof and deep fryer proof. One of my main reasons for NOT buying a truly wireless thermometer before was the lack of range and the fact that they were pretty fragile. The New MeatStick I can tell you is pretty awesome! So far it has exceeded my exceptions in range and durability. I can use this in both sous vide AND barbecue cooking without a worry! I am looking forward to many more cooks with this!
