In day two of our remodel, we start with running speaker wire for installation of in-wall surround sound speakers, and then continue on with drywall/sheetrock work. After the drywall is blocked out, we get going on installing expanded metal lathe so we can begin mortaring. By the end of the day, the entire fireplace area will be framed with mortar and ready for stone and granite tiling.
