Some elderly citizens in the Free State have expressed relief after casting their votes. Since 7 am on Monday, the Electoral Commission started conducting home visits and opened stations across the province for the special votes. Over 80 thousand people have registered for special votes in the province. The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in the province says voting stations were opened on time without any glitches, with over one thousand teams deployed on the ground.
