In this video step by step tutorial, I will go over all the steps you will have to follow to register your drone (DJI or any brand) with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) in the United States which is now required by law for any drone over 0.55 lbs even if you are only flying as a hobbyist.

Drone rules are changing at a really fast pace, I will also cover where you are required to place your drone registration number on the drone itself.
If you get a new drone or if your drone gets repaired and that the serial number is different (happened to me several times as DJI will send a new unit), you will have to cancel your previously registered drone and register your current quad copter.
