On 10 May police executed warrants and discovered a huge £300,000 cannabis farm hidden inside an abandoned Territorial Army building.
Police stormed the derelict property and found more than 300 plants inside, along with a large quantity of cannabis buds in a drying room which police suspect were about to be packaged for sale.
Electricity was bypassed and 'squalid living quarters' were also found. They had to break through a breeze block wall to reach the drugs, which will be destroyed. There was also 'sophisticated' heating equipment at the site.

Two people were found behind a padlocked gate, with 'no way of escaping', police said. Sergeant Miles Patterson said: "We’ve acted on information received from the community to execute the warrant and uncovered a significant cannabis grow that was ultimately destined for the streets, causing potential crime and untold misery.
