Hands-on review with Samsung's Galaxy S10e smartphone, the most compact and affordable of the 2019 S10 handsets. We run through the specs and take a closer look at the dual lens camera tech, plus the best features.
This 5.8-inch mobile is easy to handle, although doesn't sport the same Edge display of its bigger brothers - while also substituting a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for the in-display 3D scanner. Other specs have also changed - Samsung's Dynamic AMOLED screen tech is back on the Galaxy S10e, with HDR10+ support, but the resolution is scaled back to Full HD+. Storage and RAM options have also changed over the Galaxy S10, with this 'Lite' model topping off at 256GB and offering 6GB as base.
Performance seems strong on the S10e so far however, with the same octa-core 8nm chipset on board (expected to be Samsung's own Exynos 9820). And while the 3400mAh battery is smaller than its siblings, we're still hoping for all-day life.
Samsung will confirm the UK price of the S10e at the official launch, which should be finishing just as this video goes live - so stay tuned for full info!
