Welcome to Bentley Custom Offroad and Offroad Grind. I enjoy building bumpers, Swingouts, etc for offroad rigs. I'm located about an hour southwest of Houston Texas if you're interested in chatting about some custom builds for your truck.
On this build I made a front hybrid bumper for this 100 series Land Cruiser and then (see Part 2 of the video) made a super high clearance rear bumper.

I used 3/16" plate steel for the front winch bumper and 1.5" steel tubing for the front wing bars and grill bar. I'll go back and forth between 1.5 and 1.75" round tubing depending on the look I'm going for. We used a 12,000lb Harbor Freight Badlands synthetic rope winch and designed the bumper to fit the whole winch in there without having to remove and relocate the solenoid.
The client wanted the room to add 4" lights on the inner area of the wings and 3" lights a little further out. Then he was going to add two 7" lights above the grill bar on either side of the Toyota logo.
I finished the bumper with a coat of Rustoleum primer, a brush coat of Rustoleum Professional series enamel, then a hvlp spray coat of enamel and then an hvlp spray coat of bedliner.
