Nzideani is a festival which means "to bring down". This festival signifies the bringing down of different Anam deities taken up to very high trees during the seasonal flood, when flood has gone down. This Nzideani is mainly performed on Eke market day on which no one goes to the market to sell or buy and there are display of various Masquerades to mark the day.
