Thermography is a Non-Destructive Testing technique used for testing of aerospace composite structures. We use halogen lamps that are controlled through our own drive electronics to generate sinusoidal heating inputs to the panel being tested. The heating response of the tested sample will be recorded using an infrared camera and analyzed to find sub-surface defects such as voids, porosity and delaminations.
Thermography system is indigenously developed at Vashishtha Research.
