Several aspects of Parti Liyani’s evidence in Court raised questions. For example, some of the items were found in trash. Based on the Police’s investigations, they assessed that she did steal, and that was why she was charged. During the High Court trial, Parti Liyani was given the benefit of doubt due to the inconsistencies in the statements and conduct of her employers.
