This month, during National Police Week and Peace Officers Memorial Day, the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) joins other law enforcement agencies around the world to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty. We also honor our own DSS personnel—special agents, host nation law enforcement and other security personnel who put their lives on the line every day, protecting our embassies and consulates worldwide.
