We had a terrible slope below our lower yard. It constantly grew weeds we could not control. We finally built terrace walls or retaining walls that turned this area into a wonderful terraced, raised garden beds. We mixed with gravel with Portland Cement for the mix. Mixed 2x4, 2x6, 2x8 lumber for the forms to give an old world look.
