#Export #MIDI #Garageband
It's not possible, technically, to export MIDI files out of Garageband so they can be used by other DAWs, however, you can use .aif files as loops and then convert them into MIDI files using aif2midi.com.
This is an easy way of getting around this cumbersome problem that a lot of people have complained about regarding Garageband. There are a few other ways of going about the same process, but things have changed a lot, including Big Sur and Catalina updates.
For example, it was possible to do the same thing once with Lars Kobbe's plug-in, GB2MIDI, but it no longer works with Garageband. You can find that at Scott Troyer's blog here:
