Author Greg Mikkelson talks about his article in Global Sustainability, entitled "Mutual Reinforcement of Academic Reputation and Fossil Fuel Divestment", discussing their study concerning divestment from fossil fuel by universities. They found that more prestigous universities are more likely to divest and that divesting universities tend to improve their status in the world university rankings.
