Spend some time off the grid in this week’s Editor’s Choice gallery and video. We’re revisiting pictorials that give you a taste of remote life featuring Kayci Darko, Jenessa Dawn, Skye Blue, Uma Jolie, and Emma Hix. “I lived in an RV for a small amount of time,” says Skye Blue in her January 2019 pictorial, “Rest Stop.” “So I felt very at home. I think you guys are going to see that in the photos.” Originally from the south, Skye tells us her roots have shaped the woman she is today. “I grew up in a small town in Florida, and everyone was super nice. I would say I’m a little too sweet for my own good because of it, but I think everybody deserves kindness,” she says. Next, get to know Emma Hix, our April 2021 All Star. “I’m clumsy, silly, and I have a great sense of humor,” says Emma of her personality. Another thing that makes Emma who she is? Her work ethic. “I’m proud of myself for accomplishing so much by 23,” she smiles. “I’m a determined and hard-working girl once I put my mind to something.”
