The American Geophysical Union is a global network of scientists working across multiple disciplines in earth and space science. This year, the AGU 2022 Fall Meeting is where “Science Leads the Future!” in Episode 1 of AGU TV, we are sitting down with Carmen George, whose "cope program" is making sure that food isn't a luxury item. We will also talk with Kai Thirumalai about the causes and mechanisms of variations in the oceans and atmosphere, and how such information can help anticipate future impacts of global change. Plus we’ll take you on a tour around the globe of the universities, institutes, and research centers at the forefront of the exploration of earth and space sciences.
We will visit:
