I talk about the importance of using a scant 1/4” seam allowance when constructing a quilt block.

I then show you some techniques to create an accurate scant 1/4” seam allowance.

I demonstrate a seam gauge tool, the Ideal Seam Gauge & Guide. I’m not affiliated with this product in any way. It’s just one of the many tools on the market designed to help quilters and others achieve accurate seam allowances.

I also show you one of the quilt blocks I constructed back in my earlier quilting days where I used the 1/4” seam allowance and just how the block doesn’t measure up! 😳
