U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced $400 million in cooperative agreement funding for the USDA Regional Food Business Centers Program to up to an estimated ten entities over the course of approximately two years to support regional supply chains. USDA Regional Food Business Centers will provide essential regional coordination, technical assistance, and capacity-building services.
