Panis Angelicus (Bread of the Angels) is the penultimate stanza from the hymn "Sacris Solemnis" written by Thomas Aquinas for the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ.
In 1872, the French composer and organist césar Franck wrote a musical arrangement for the hymn "Panis Angelicus", which includes parts for tenor, harp, cello and organ.
