A canoe and solo wildeness camp on a picturesque Loch island in the Scottish Highlands.
With my dog for company, we explore loch Maree and wild camp under a tarp rigged up to my canoe.
Surrounded with breathtaking views I cook up a chilli over the firebox stove and get treated to an awesome sunset.

*please note, camping on the islands is no longer allowed during the spring to protect the black throated Divers during their nesting period*
