Last week we introduced the first use case of the Nova Virtual Reality training, created with the Royal Netherlands Army, Ministerie van Defensie and VREE. We are glad to share Staff Officer R & R&D of the Royal Dutch Army Captain Ewout's reaction. SenseGlove's Nova was implemented in a Virtual Reality training program for assembling a satellite receiver. Compared to traditional controllers, the Nova allows trainees to interact safely and intuitively, without damaging expensive equipment. Thanks to SenseGlove's patented force feedback, the trainees can feel the shapes, sizes, and density of the parts they are assembling. Trainees can physically interact with the virtual environment through motion tracking and vibrotactile feedback, allowing them to feel impacts, fastening clicks, and equipment vibrations in Virtual Reality training.
