Install 50 Amp welder outlet circuit in workshop for 220/240 VAC MIG welder -
In this video, I show the installation of a 50 amp 220/240 volt single-phase welder outlet circuit in my workshop subpanel, with a 3-prong nema 6-50r outlet for my new Chicago Electric MiG170 wire/MIG welder I bought as an open-box deal at Harbor Freight. I used 6/2 cable with 2 (black/white) 6 gauge wires and a ground wire. I show how I ran the wire from the panel to the outlet box and what connections I made.
