Oh, what a surprise!
Under Armour's HOVR franchise has always been this bulky, heavy high-mileage trainer but compared to its predecessors, the HOVR Machina 3 feels fresh and less brick-y.
The new dual-density HOVR foam is a real treat and helps you move forward with relative ease. The updated upper lets in more air so things don't get too stuffy in the toebox; phew!
Maybe because I expected a heavy, warm, mega-cushioned shoe, I was genuinely surprised by how fresh my feet felt in the HOVR Machina 3 – it might even make it into my shoe rotation! Although I quite enjoy running in the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 and the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 24 at the moment...
Nevertheless, the UA HOVR Machina 3 is worth your attention if you're on the market for a well-cushioned running shoe for high-mileage training. Don't believe me? Watch my Under Armour HOVR Machina 3 review now – I let you decide.
[PLEASE NOTE: I'm having trouble with the sound of the videos but I'm working on it! I hope it'll be fixed by the next video that goes up this weekend.]
