Unable to access folders on network in windows and getting the error message saying "enter the network credentials"? You can try these simple three methods to fix the issue
Method 1: Go to Control Panel - Network and Internet - Network and Sharing Center - Change advanced sharing settings - scroll down to ALL NETWORKS and Turn OFF password protected sharing.
Method 2: Sometimies old credentials confuse windows and causes errors on network. You can delete old credentials to fix this issue.
Go to Control Panel - change the "view by" type on the top to small or large icons. Credential Manager - Windows Credentials.
Delete all windows credentials there!
Additionally You can add the credentials if you know for sure.
Restart your computer to apply the changes.
Method 3: Please try these usernames and passwords
username: admin, password: simply type "password" without quotes
usename: adminm password :admin
username: admin, password: leave it blank
username: space bar, password: spacebar
username: anonymous, password: leave it blank, or simply type "password".
username: use windows email id and password.
username: use host computer name and password. OR leave the password section blank or simply type "password" without quotes.
